A small ruined homestead, marked in the Tithe Schedule, No. 1035, 'Castell house.' It has not been inhabited for at least sixty years. It once possessed a large stone oven, which has long since vanished. It stands on the lands of Blaenplwyf-uchaf, within memory formerly called 'Aber Llewelyn.' (RCAHMW)
