A scarped knoll, ditched to the north, interpreted as 'a rather abnormal medieval earthwork castle', or as an IA defended enclosure. Possible cropmarks of a roundhouse in the northern part of the enclosure support the later interpretation. (Coflein)

On spur of land, small for Iron Age Hillfort. Has no strategic value but could be a small manorial centre.
